Each song has the strum pattern and/or pick pattern. Having the strum pattern for every song is wonderful for a beginner. Even though I am slowing down through chord changes, the songs sound aokay and I am having fun! Easy to follow. You will need to know your chords first, though each song has the chords shown clearly

I was looking for a resource to use in music class that contained simple music scores for a large variety of American Folk Songs and this book fit the bill!
This was a gift for my daughter who is learning the guitar. I like the songs in this book they seemed good for a beginning guitarist.
