While I'm sure that the information included in this text is accurate and useful, I find the many grammar errors and typos incredibly distracting. My guess is that no-one has a choice whether to buy this book- I'm sure it's required for a class, like mine was. However, if you DO have an option, maybe go with something else, or be prepared to overlook many errors and extra commas. I can't believe I paid so much for a book that just makes me want to get out my red pen and go to town making corrections.
Excellent book and has a detailed history of Organized Crime. I would recommend this book to any college student in criminal justice and for law enforcement officers.
Haven't read the book, only ordered it for my niece who needs it for an upcoming college course.Over $160 for a book.....like it's a first edition Guttenberg Bible or something?Organized Crime...how appropriate. No wonder so many college students and their families mount up so much debt!
This book is mandatory for my Organized Crime course. I absolutely love it. It is very interesting, very precise and easy to read and follow. Great choice, I am glad I bought it!
Great insight on the history, organization, and operations of criminal groups. Numerous examples are provided as references. Book arrived earlier than expected/suppose too!
I just needed this for school and it had been an interesting book to read on organized crime but it did tend to get boring at times
Book was in perfect condition, was a little dirty probably from the package. Other than that, no issue.
Needed it for class. It was gr8. I read chapters and took quizzes on said chapters. Crazy stuff.
