Agatha Christie, one of if not the worlds best mystery writers did it again with her wonderful mystery "13 At Dinner", it was great. What is even better about this is that it is on an audio cassette so you can listen to it almost everywhere. This is a great story! Agatha Cristie who has often been dubbed the "Queen of Mystery" uses one of her best characters, Hercule Poirot who closes this suspenseful case in a great way, in this great mystery. You can try to solve this mystery but believe me it's hard to figure out, but Hercule Poirot does it!
Lady Edgware wants a divorce and urges Poirot to assist. "But Madame I do not interest myself in such matters". Never the less after a little flattery he does approach Lord Edgware who is surprised to receive such a request 'cause he has already agreed to the divorce. What is going on here and why did Lord Edware kill himself twenty four hours later? Or was it perhaps murder? It's the usual sausage from Dame Agatha's self proclaimed "sausage machine". But we like the flavor of this sausage and keep coming back for more. Captain Arthur Hastings is by Poirots side in this Christie classic. If you use your "little grey cells" you can solve this one rather easily. Don Wardell Palm Springs California.
It was a very teriffic book. The outcome as her books usually are was very unpredictable. I read it and did a book report in this year of sixth grade and it was so good I got to read it to the class.
