As always, the Schirmer edition is the best. Quality is good, the price is fantastic, and the editing and fingering suggestions are very good (and you definitely need them for these etudes!).The size and clarity of the print is very nice also.
I bought this book last year and i've yet to finish even one etude. There are very fun to play with and i'm still learning all of them. I highly recommend this book to those that love challenges like I do.
My daughter really liked this version as it had more helpful markings than the version her teacher used. Definitely cannot go wrong with this version.
If you are a Chopin aficionado, this book is a must for your collection. Chopin's Etudes which were intended to be "exercises" are in fact very challenging. The pieces themselves are each distinct and beautiful.
Very good printing, I like the layout, neat, beautiful edition. Editorial marks are satisfactory. Yellow color is not too put-off; it's more subdued. I would buy again from this vendor.

I got this for my Dad who bought one many, many years ago and it was falling apart. He said this was much better made and is very sturdy. He loves it.
