I got this book for my daughter who is learning tin whistle in school as part of music theory and wanted to have some more fun pieces to play. My daughter is 5 and is a bit too young for this but I myself enjoyed playing the tin whistle with these songs. I got the kindle version per the other reviewers complaining how small the book is. With the kindle version it is nice that I would never lose it as it is in my kindle library. Some of the Christmas songs I do not know but the old favorites are all in there :)
My only complaint is that this book is a bit small. I mean the dimensions of the book are something like 7"x9" or so. The problem with that is that the text is small and it is hard to get it to stay open. Other than that, I like it.
I bought a wooden flute at the Bristol Ren Faire last year. This Tin Whistle book also worked GREAT for my wooden flute. :) Very easy to read and play.
this book is not only good for children, but also beginners. Its easy to follow, and some of the songs I have never heard before
