This is a totally beautiful book. Illustrations are enhanced with metallic gold and some vellum overlays. Gorgeous and informative.
Just an all-around wonderful book. As you learn about the manuscripts, the authors actually bring you inside of one, using the book's beautiful presentation. Well written and organized-a compliment to any collection.
Very interesting for history buffs and students of Medieval language and culture. Worth a look for many returning European travelers, as well.
