While David Cutler's books contain really useful information, this particular book in the kindle format has too many editing problems. Paragraphs are repeated and others are cut off in mid-sentence leaving the reader wondering what bit of wisdom or advice they've missed out on. Hopefully this problem is only found in the kindle version and not the print version - that would demonstrate a rush to print and no concern for quality or the pursuit of excellence.
The author starts by asking readers to become aware of their own teaching formulas and priorities, while highlighting numerous ways to freshen or rethink methods and content. David Cutler has done it again! I have been looking forward to this book since seeing him present at NCKP in 2011 or 2013 on the "10 Income Streams for Piano Teachers." This book lays out a blue-print for maximizing your income, specifically for the music teacher. The teacher examples and testimonials are great as well. I purchased the Kindle e-book and had no issues.
