It's from Cherry Lane - what else is their to say? (Nov.2014)Well after diving into it, almost a year later - I had to take a star off. While the transcriptions are as note for note correct, as one could hope for, the tabs on the other hand, tend to look like they were done by a computer. I found a lot of places, especially in solos, where the notes were on the wrong strings, for the shape being played. Making for incredibly unnatural hand placement, and picking motions. Kinda like, if you tried to play a traditional pentatonic scale, but moved all the ring finger notes, to the next higher string - it would still be all the right notes, but the scale shape would be upside down, and hard to play correctly, let alone effortlessly.While this isn't that big an issue, for an experienced player - I would definitely look for back issues of "Guitar for the Practicing Musician", for precise student worthy tabs. Transcribed by the likes of, Andy Aledort, and Wolf Marshall, which this book does not appear to be. I looked, and could not find that info anywhere, in the book. (Sept.2015)
I recently purchased this book to learn the solos for two Dio songs. The songs were easy enough to play by ear but the solos got a bit more complicated. I never really got into Ronnie James Dio with Sabbath but this book got my curiosity up and I'm happy to say I'm enjoying that now too (Mob Rules especially). The tab seems to be pretty solid and only wish they would have included a couple of his later songs, especially "All the Fools Sailed Away" and "I Could Have Been A Dreamer", love the solo for that one. Very pleased overall!
It is an excellent Guitar Tab book.Easy to undersatnd and suitable for a novice guitarist like me.Well Done..May god rest him in peace !!

The song choices are great. However the solos are not all correct. So far the rhythm parts are good. But If you are buying this book to learn the solos. You are going to be disappointed.
