Think its a great book for any newbie and gives you a great understanding as well as some good tips to help you progress in each stage your in and personally I am having some trouble with learning the barre chords but am getting there slowly but steadily.
This guide really helps. It's written in an easy to follow and friendly manner and is a great tool to help you. or beginners like myself that have already gotten a head start, it has some good info in it too. More advanced players may not find it useful.If you have someone who is an expert at guitar playing, then try to ask some help.The dots and the notes are hard to read if you don't have an idea even of the smallest things.This book taught me what scales are and why I’ve got to master them for ultimate guitar success. I learned proven steps and strategies on how to learn about guitar scales and they are easy to learn.
just recently purchase a guitar and before i pay some expensive guitar lessons i decided to give this book a try. The title has a big promise teaching me to play in 24 hours seems unrealistic but i must say the author was right. This book gives you the basics of playing the guitar i would say i have a ear for music which helps but this books gives you alot of the practical techniques needed to get you on the path to really playing the guitar. I appreciated the images provided and the explanations of notes as well as explaining how all the strings work in unison
I would say it's a complete beginner guide.This book start with description of several part of guitar I think it's a great idea to know more about guitar.I just started to learn guitar and I used this book for my helping hand.I found this book very helpful.This book has some pictures which really helped me to learn it fast.this book discussed all the instructions about guitar clearly and it's great!At the end of this book I have found my favorite song.."Stay with me". I’m still pursuing my new hobby, so I’m trying out a couple of things. Since I played piano in my early ages, I thought that I can try with learning to play guitar. This book is great for beginners since it explains everything you need to know about guitar, from it’s parts to how to hold it, how to play chords etc. Explanations on how to practices strumming, how to hold your elbows and what motions you need to adopt, makes me think that I can actually learn to play guitar with this book. Another great thing is bonus tablatures on some great songs at the end of the book, that will be a good start.
Quite a thorough guide for a beginner to learn playing the guitar. I like how the book has been structured. Most guitar guide would just skip to the ‘how to play the guitar’ part. This book however gives more than that. Aside from the fundamentals, the basic guitar parts, tuning, fretting and reading the guitar tablature are also explained. The bonus on pictures of chords on famous songs at the end of the book is a plus for me. Highly recommended.
I just bought a guitar and I'm now practicing how to play it. I saw this book and it's free so I immediately grabbed it. This is such a great book especially for beginners like me. All the basics of playing guitar were discussed in details but in simple words that readers can understand immediately. I'm now starting to learn and can already play a few stanzas of my favorite song and whenever I forget something, I'd immediately refer to this book. Thanks for this guide!
We have a guitar at home, my sister owns the guitar but didn't continue playing it for some reason I do not know. Now, my younger brother uses the guitar at home and he can totally play it. I know lots of good guitarist and one of them is my ex boyfriend, he plays really well. Now, out of curiosity I got myself this guitar music book and when I read on the pages it difficult for me to grasp everything at once but with the help of my brother I was able to use the guitar on my own. I need a lot of practice but thanks to this book, I can now play the guitar a little.
