As a raw beginning tapper, this book is tremendously helpful. The pictures and descriptions of the steps are exactly what I need to help me master the basics. This would probably be a snooze for students with more than a few hours of tap experience, but it's perfect for someone just starting out. I'm an older adult, but I believe this would be helpful for the teen student as well.
This is a too old book! But I did like the little history in the last pages about the different dances, not just tap dancing.
