I must admit I have been hesitant to delve into the big wide world of universal music theory under the assumption it is too confusing and difficult to learn, but I was pleased to discover that this book is written in a clear, easy to follow manner without compromising on information.This book is extremely comprehensive; showcasing a range of imagery / diagrams for ease of understanding, and covers a variety of elements including notes, scales, keys, intervals, chords, and much more. I really enjoyed some of the author’s other publications and I am pleased I picked up a copy of this one too.Overall, a fantastic book that will prime the absolute beginner and inform the expert - no matter which instrument you play!
