I received this yesterday and I am the proud owner of ALL the Project Eden books.They are so helpful for the new student and this newest book is just the same. I am new to watercolorand this book tells you EVERYTHING! Again, I really would get this book for learning botanical illustration.It is a gem as are all the Eden books.!
Excellent book for taking you through the process of making a botanical illustration. Covers watercolor and colored pencil. One of the better books on the subject.
This book is awesome! The illustrations are beautiful and tutorials are very educational. I'm not really a botanical artist, but I wanted to learn and that's why I purchased the book. I believe this to be one of the best artist reference books that I've seen. The author does a great job of presenting color mixes, which was a great help even in other watercolor paintings.

I've been looking for a good book on botanical illustration. This is a very good book in many ways. I gave it 4 stars because I was looking for something with more floral illustrations than are represented here.
