This is a 48 page book, for drawing and painting animals. Now there are 6 drawings, they are large and clear, for you to reproduce any way you choose. The pictures of the animals are very attractive. The drawings are of a Tiger that's on the cover, then a Zebra, a Leopard , a Red Panda, and lastly a Alpaca Camel. Now all the drawings have step-by-step instructions, the instructions are very detailed, clear, and easy to understand. Color pictures also accompany the instructions, and these pictures are a real nice size, and they are very clear, so you can see the steps, that the instructions are referring to..Now I took off a star because of the last two projects, the Red Panda and the Alpaca. In my personal opinion, I do not like them, and I don't think these paintings are attractive, also I don't think the majority of people, are very familiar with these animals. And I wouldn't want to hang them up anywhere. Now some people I know will feel differently, but I'm trying to inform you from my point of view. And the surprise project is a pair of Tufted Ducks in water. Now these ducks don't have any painting instructions, But if you read the printing under the ducks picture, you will see the color paints that the artist used. But that's all the help you get with them. Now for me the book is worth the other 3 projects, everything is done so well, and these pictures look so good. And add the fact that I love this artist's works, I would easily purchase this book again.

I'm not a good drawer, and am brand new to acrylics. Angela makes everything so easy! From the tracing suggestions to the color mixing and brush techniques, I drew the Zebra first, and I'm so pleased with it, I wish you could see it!Save yourself some time by purchasing the paints and brushes you'll need BEFORE you get the book so you don't have to wait!Acrylic paints=ultramarine blue, ultramarine violet, cobalt turquoise light, cadmium yellow medium, pyrrole orange, quinacridone violet, titanium white, violet iron oxide, mars black, red iron oxide, cadmium orange, yellow ochre, burntsienna, cerulean blue, burnt umber, alizarin crimson, naples yellow, permanent sap green, raw umber, and perylene green. (You could just paint with red, yellow and blue, if you know how to mix.)Brushes = Large Pointed mop, or any mop, actually, size 2 filbert, size 0 rigger (this is brush with a long section of hair, used to create wispy lines) and 3 sizes of combers-6mm(1/4"), 9mm(3/8"), and 12mm(1/2").ALSO, Angela uses water soluble pencils ink black and bark color. These are a real necessity, as you need to lay down your zebras stripes, and then be able to paint over it without washing the stripes off!Go forth and enjoy painting!

Very fast shipping, nothing damaged.I'm a big fan of these "ready to paint" books. I CAN drawl however, sometimes you want to cut your time in half and get a painting done quicker. Especially if you only have 2-4 hours to paint. These are great for that. They are also great for someone who cant drawl, buy tracing several times you will get much better at drawling. I also suggest to improve drawling skills drawl something, anything every single day. I love this ready to paint And I would strongly suggest buying the painting in texture when working with animals. So the fur and hair looks natural.

Brilliant service from beginning to end. My husband loves the book.

Needed smaller subjects. Because didn't want to paint so big.
