Fun rhyming words and great pictures make this book a delight for children and their parents as they read this story aloud and teach their kids a great lesson. It doesn't matter if you are different, or like different things. When you find a friend that will help you and you them then the world is a better place. Making learning fun and giving the love of reading is what we all need to do and this book is a great way to accomplish that!

I really love the Bruce the Moose adventures, by Tina Rantes. This one, about friendship and values is targeted for the kindergarten age group. It is a great read-to book, or beginning reader. Cute tale about Peter, an anteater, and his newfound friendship with Bruce, the Moose. Each of them finds himself in need of help. When Bruce and Peter meet in the forest, each finds a unique talent that can help the other achieve a goal. In the process, moose and anteater respectfully thank each other, shake hands, and discover that friends can be unique individuals and still develop a strong friendship bond.This story is written in verse, which works for the most part, but is a bit awkward in a few spots. The digital illustrations are cute and appropriate. Targeted for preschool to age nine, I think it will be most appealing for ages three to six.

Great Job! The nieces and nephews alwaysfollow Tina’s works and she always surprises us with something cute.
A rhyming book with fun illustrations. My little one wanted to read this again and again. Loved the creativity and great for the imagination. Entertaining for all ages and has good values. It has a good lesson in it about friendship. The author did a great job with this book!
I enjoyed this cool short story about how it really does not matter what your friend likes to eat except not their new friend,right? Like Peter the anteater learned,too! My granddaughter loves this books and the others in this series. The rhymes n the story are whimsical and sing-song sounding. She loves it. The illustrations are also really cute. She enjoys them all.
