Benjamin Franklin is an interesting man with a rich history. I greatly enjoyed reading this short, condensed version. Like always, it did a great job of dispelling myths and enriching this man's story and journey.I learned lots of new things about this great man. The book was delightful to read. I greatly enjoyed doing so and would recommend to fans of the genre. For those who don't have a lot of time or money to spend, this book provides everything you need to know--and it's easy to remember everything from the book.
This is a great book to research on Benjamin Franklin. Unfortunetly I found this book rather repetative and boring. I mean sure it is a great book on how Beenjamin Franklin created his infamous creations and how he greatly impacted the history of America it's just that this book makes it seem rather boring. One of my suggestions to make this book better is by adding pictures of what the book is talking about at least once every 5 pages. That way the reader has a visual of what he is reading and the book won't apper to be as boring. I would recomend this book to people who are researching on Benjamin Franklin for a project.Disclosure: I have recived this product for a special discuont in exchange for an honest, detailed, and quaity review. I have been reviewing a bunch of books for kids this week. This book is actually a fact-filled educational book. I was excited to read this one I love Ben Franklin anyway but to see this book for kids was wonderful. So many of the books I have been seeing for children are filled with empty space a picture on one side of the page and a paragraph about something on the other side of the page a few pages and it is done. Most of these so-called books are nothing more than a pamphlet. This is a book a short book but a book and I felt I knew more about Ben Franklin than I did before. We are homeschoolers so we are always looking for free books for our kids. Homeschoolers have to buy everything for their kids the school district doesn't give us books and they don't allow us to use the school libraries so we have to use only public libraries or buy everything.I will be using this book for my son this year it will work in nicely with his 6th-grade social studies.
After a number of assigned papers on Franklin, I've enjoyed doing quite a bit of reading about him. This book covers his printing career and explains why this was important in Franklin's success. Most biographies I have read focus on either his inventions or his political career and do not say enough about the printer. There is enough information on Franklin to write many books; however, this is the best I've come across. The writing is lively and makes the subject come alive. His relationships with his peers and family are covered, as well. A very well -rounded study of the original American.
I devoured this biography! Any fan of American history should read this work since it gives new perspective on the lives of not only Benjamin Franklin, but other important historical figures from the late 18th century. The humor and humanity of Franklin is clearly presented yet his fallacies are not hidden. The author is not afraid to present Franklin's shortcomings along with his many gifts and lets the reader decide what to judge. This important biography is well worth adding to your bookshelf!
I've never been what one would consider a history buff, by any means, but this ebook about Benjamin Franklin intrigued me. I love the fact that it doesn't read like a boring textbook. It was quick, interesting read, with unique facts that the general population probably doesn't know. I know I learned a lit, and have even more respect for this amazing man who experienced and endured so much in his life. I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed this read, and was truly entertained from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this ebook to anyone who wants to learn something new. Great read!I received this ebook for free for my honest and unbiased review. If this helped anyone out there please check yes. Thanks.
This book is well written. It is a chronology of the life of Ben Franklin, that really explains the story of how he became what he became. I learned many things that I did not know, from the trivial to the important. The seven chapters are organized chronologically, each concentrating on a part of Franklin's life. The book is very easy to read and maintain interest in.I liked that Franklin is portrayed as more than just a statesman, or a philosopher, or any of the many hats that he wore in his life. We are given the background about his family to understand where the priorities and contributions of Ben Franklin had their roots. We are told enough of the detail to keep it interesting and memorable, without being such an exhaustive volume that it is intimidating to even bother starting with it.Overall, a great book to build understanding.I received the Kindle edition of this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
