BOO! HISS! This anthology does not contain River Lullaby, which is the primary reason I purchased the book. My bad, of course, for not checking the table of contents. I bought this piano book on , and I was just a beginner. This is an excellent book for advanced piano players, but not so great for beginners.
As a singer and pianist, this music book was very exciting as well as helpful! I would recommend it to any piano player, as well as piano teacher!
All the songs were in there, just as hoped, with words to the lyrics and the names of the characters singing each part. Lots of interesting accidentals and rhythmic challenges--definitely not for a beginning pianist (unless the beginner is sufficiently motivated!), but not particularly difficult, either. Moderate difficulty. One irritating thing (to me, at least) is when a note has an accidental in one measure and then is explicitly shown to be back in the initial key in the next measure (e.g., the song is in C major and there's an E-flat in one measure and then it's shown as E natural in the next). I just find it distracting, but maybe others might find it helpful, I don't know. Also, there are illustrations from the movie and guitar chords included. Not spiral, so a bit difficult to get it to lie flat, but isn't that what Kinko's is for?
I would recommend this book to all music lovers who had a grade 3 and above.Fantastic,I love the tunes and some of it were soothing.Keeps you relaxed too!
This sheet music was well taken care of with no rips or tears. The sheet music is clean. I have so much fun playing the beautiful music. The book is filled with songs from the movie's soundtrack. I love it! The package arrived on time. The was happy with package and the service.
I bought this book because I love the Prince of Egypt movie and its music and of course, I'm musician. The book is nice illustrated and has a fine presentation. The lyrics are well syncronized with enough readability. This is an excellent scorebook and good for apprentice as well for professional.
