Purchased for an aspiring tattoo artist who always tells me he hates books (I'm a reading teacher so I feel challenged by such comments) this book was a real hit. He loves it and had to admit he does not hate all books. The colors are beautiful with great graphics.
This is an awesome hard cover book with amazing art from talented tattoo artists. If you are looking for a lookbook full of tattoo photographs, this isn't your book. You can just go to your local tattoo parlor or pick up a tattoo periodical for that. This book features art aside from just tattoos. Good eye candy for those who appreciate artistic talent with a twist.
This was a gift for a tattoo-loving friend. She said she liked it and my art-loving wife who is not a fan of tattoos flipped through and enjoyed the art as well.
