The combination of Elliot Gould and Raymond Chandler I find superb. For me it takes that combination. All the stories in this collection I really liked.
Not near as good as The Long Goodbye. C+ story here. Chandler is very popular with mystery fans but not as good as John D. Macdonalds Travis McGee (in my opinion). And in this case of Jade and Other Stories more evidence.
