These pictures are very graphic and poignantly tell a story without words.The font is intense but subtle. I can easily read each date and the various happenings for that date. This has things that happen around the world, not just holidays for the United States.Each month also has a brief blurb about that month's picture, describing what that particular picture is about. My favorite is October, seen in the second picture. There's just something about that picture that pulls at my heart strings. And when reading the blurb I found that it was meant to!I love calendars but after seeing Sephard Fairey talk with Colbert, I knew I wanted to look up his artwork. This is a simple, yet compelling calendar. Great for a gift for the liberal in your life!
It shipped on time and was a good purchase. Some art in it is boring but some are great. It was brand new and wrapped in practice when it arrived. Also if you are purchasing it to add your schedule in it, it is not a good idea. It is a great wall calendar and you will be able to add one event on it or two per a day at most before you run out of space
I purchased the "Posters for Peace and Justice" calendar for many years. This year they discontinued it. The Shepard Fairey calendar is a great alternative. I enjoy the artwork and the calendar highlights many alternative days of celebration that other calendars do not.
The calendar arrived on time. It contains great prints and it hangs in my kitchen. The prints generate conversation with my two boys 13 and 9. Enough space to write upcoming events in spaces.
Beautiful and current graphics. Large calendar grid gives enough room for notes. Glad to learn more about this artist.
Nobody does it like Shepard Fairey, beauty within the context of Russian Constructivist design.
