I wish I could separate out the production issues of the book with the actual content. There are several issues with the production side of this book, and I'm giving it an overall 1 to try to get the attention of both and SoundsTrue. If it gets fixed, I'll update it.First, the production. I noticed when I went to pre-order the book (because I love Pema Chodron) I couldn't have it sent to my Kindle. I thought this was odd and decided to wait until publication day, thinking it might be some glitch. Yesterday was publication day, and when I clicked on Kindle and went to purchase, it was still only available to be sent to my iPad or Kindle Cloud Reader. I called , and the guy I spoke to said he had never seen anything like that, but that it was set by the publisher. If you look very carefully on the Kindle order page, it will tell you which devices it's compatible with. Make sure you like your choices before you purchase.I emailed SoundsTrue and the reply I got back today said the problem was .Since getting a copy of the book was several weeks out, as of yesterday, I decided to purchase the Kindle version and read it on my iPad. (Note to . If I wanted to read on an iPad, I wouldn't have a Kindle). The basic problem is this. The digital version has been produced so that if each page that displays on the digital version looks like you're reading a book, so to speak. On the left side of the page, there is beautiful scroll work. On the right side is the copy. This would be beautiful if there were a spine down the middle and it was a physical copy. But it looks like it should have rendered digitally with a page break between the two, and it doesn't.
