This is an excellent resource to help show you how to use Rudiments around the drum kit.After watching this you should know enough to start making your own combinations, I have.I rate this as amongst the best drumming material I own.

If you're a fan of Todd's playing and his first DVD, Methods and Mechanics I, then you really need to get this book. It's an incredibly detailed look/transcription of the songs and solos from the DVD and is really a wealth of knowledge. The included CD has all of his performances as well as some play along tracks minus the drums. This, along with all of Todd's educational material, really show his love for the craft and the desire to pass along that knowledge to us in a clear, concise and entertaining manner. This is the kind of thing that makes you want to pick up the sticks and advance your skills. You won't be disappointed.

The DVD is great now to see the same material written out gives you the opportunity to work on the material and your reading at the same time. This will make you a better player but it will take work. Thanks Todd!

This book is more for advanced music readers. The cd. really helps and are great tunes to listen to even in the car or an ipod. cheers
