I found other works by Jordan very helpful. This book is well written, but I have not found it very helpful in improving intonation in my ensemble. While intonation issues seem to plague many choral groups, it is astonishing how little material there is to address it. I tried the approach with a willing group, but intonation issues persist even when they were swimming around in the harmonic pool. Some concepts are helpful for me as director, but this is a time-consuming, big investment for a chorus to undertake. A weekly rehearsal is precious time, and I can't justify it. I have returned to some Shaw jewels to improve our intonation along with continued focus on production.
