he book was precisely what I required at this time. I have been attempting to discover something much the same as this book that can give me the data and points of interest need. This book is really good, especially for those who are starting in the world of painting in acrylic, not only because you explain the why to use this type of paint but because it teaches you to brushes used, technical drawing and above all how choose a theme among many things that will ensure you know much about acrylic paint. The author did a great job in this book. When I think of acrylic, I think of fake nails, but I see that it can be used more than just in nail design, and I'm excited to use these techniques this summer. Overall, it was a great information read and I will definitely be reading this book again for a refresher.
I’ve been painting for a while now and I think I’ve tried everything with it and decided that I’d stick with acrylic painting. I really find the book very easy to understand and very detailed. The idea of acrylic painting helps give me an idea of how the painting comes into being and how it develop to be one of the best ways to be creative and express your feelings through art. The book is very clear and easy to read. Really looking forward to applying this book as much as possible. Highly recommended!
I consider this book as a super read for the beginners attempting to determine what medium of paint they should be working in. It was nice to understand and I thoroughly enjoyed the book. This book can be given as a gift to someone who loves to paint. What I liked the most that it makes you familiarize what are the materials that will be needed in your art work which leads us to becoming skillful.
I was really inspired by this book. As I was reading it, I became more eager to learn acrylic painting. The various methods describe here helped me discover the techniques that suites my own capabilities. Painting has really been my passion and that is why I read a lot of books about how to paint. And this book is one of my favorites. Through it, I can express myself feely.
If you are looking to fine tune your painting skills you need to read this book! Although I already had a fair idea of some of the things in this book due to my landscape drawing background, it really did serve as a great refresher for many of the things I’ve overlooked over the years. Very well written and the author did a great job to really explain the subtle points that will make a difference to your artworks.
I have been curious for some time about Acrylic painting and finally decided to get this one. I am amazed on how much info it contains! You learn a lot on styles and colours etc. when reading it. I think I will get started with landscape painting at first, that part was really great, maybe I will discover a personal acrylic style as well, thanks to this book.
I've started getting more and more into painting lately, but hadn't tried my hand at acrylic painting before purchasing this book. This book gives fantastic tips to becoming a master at acrylic painting, even with basically no prior experience. I've enjoyed using it so much, and it has helped my own painting skills to improve substantially.
I am so excited to see this book. My hobby is painting and i use acrylics on canvas. I have painted many canvases and I have never read a book on the ins and outs of acrylic. I have taken 2 art classes but we painted a canvas not actual learn how to apply, mix, thin and all the techniques that come with it. Acrylics are water based and the colors are easy to mix and easy to correct if you made any mistakes, which I have learned from trial and error. As I was reading the book I came across some tips on what to not and not to do with your paint brushes. I have always left my brushes in the water for too long but now i will know better. This is a must read for all that are beginners and paint as a hobby.
