I've listened to the CDs in the car on the way to work. They're really great at refreshing my Spanish vocabulary.
This is a good textbook for the course I took, "Spanish For Educators", with a couple exceptions. I wish it had an index to locate words and concepts. Also, the glossary is incomplete and doesn't include many words from the chapters.
After flipping through this book several times at the school library, I knew I had to have it. Once I received it, I flipped through again and looked closer at the content. I believe this book and the CDs will be a valuable tool to help me converse with my Spanish speaking students. I have always wanted to take a Spanish course but don't have the time at the moment. This will definitely be helpful!
I work in a school system that has quite a few Spanish-speaking children. I needed to hit the ground running and this book is helping me accomplish that.
