Ultimately disappointing! 30 pages of large print! You can read it in an hour or less. Most of it is just fluff and philosophizing. The salient content could be condensed into a page or two. A waste of my money!
This guide give you the basics str8 4ward real talk. The author essentially gives you the meat n potatoes; thankfully holding the lettuce! Easy read truly takes about an hour and feels like a conversation instead of a lecture. To the authorI thank you!
Absolutely loved this book. Was on the net searching around for a TOOL to help me with my song writing. After wading through about a ton of misses that really didn't do much for me, I happened to glance upon this book. Wow, how perfectly it fit for my situation. Although I love to write I was a bit rusty and this book found a way to bring the good song writer out of me. Recommend this title to anyone looking to write their first song.

This "book" which should be called a pamphlet is only 30 pages, front to back.It actually says in it that a song is nothing more complicated than a result of words + music =song.Ummmm duh?!
Very minimal but informative targetted for beginners. Mentions some of the good practises needed as a song writer and touches the aspects of lyrics melody and pop song structure.
