This large format book contains six step by step projects for you to create realistic sunsets from America to Africa, using oils and acrylics. This book has a brief introduction to the medium, then gives basic techniques associated with oils such as scumbling and underpainting. It talks about sunset colours. The step by step projects each have nine steps that should enable you to paint the picture. Only one of the projects is executed in acrylic, the other five are in oils. This how to book gives some excellent step-by-step for developing composition and layering colors to achieve the desired effect. Very instructive and just what I expected.
i realy wanted paintings of different sunsets. Can I return this book?/the book is good , just not what I thought it would be
I would have liked more step by step photos. The book has great illustrations but I would have preferred more. Otherwise the book is great.
Wasn't too impressed with this book and the sunsets inside it. I bought it as a gift so I hope it will be helpful for the beginning artist.
