A very straight-forward read from a, well, that I know of, little-known, analyst who studied under Jung and his mentees, Toni Wolff, and others. The wonderful thing about Keller-Jenny's memoir, her writing and the editors compilation is that this is not a blind devotee of Jung, his students and the training. Keller-Jenny makes clear the gender-bias that was a part of her own marriage, Jung's marriage, how he treated his female students and analysts and the societal limitations that Keller-Jenny persevered through to become a respected doctor and analyst, all the while a mother and wife and student. Keller-Jenny addresses the limitations that Jungian analysis has for the general public, insurances and brief therapies. A welcome point of view from an unfairly unknown analyst.
