Many, if not most, of the popular songs of the '50's are included in this book. The price is relatively low, making this a good value. Because songs are in "C" and most songs have simple chord progressions, I can easily transpose them on the keyboard (in my head on the fly) to keys that are more singable for my vocal range. CONS: 1) Chords are often too simple, excluding borrowed, augmented, and diminished chords that would make the songs richer; 2) as with all Kindle Fake Books, the print is too small and has very limited ways of making it larger (unlike Kindle reading books). Bottom line, it's a great alternative to spending $3-5/song from other internet sheet music retailers.
As a very untalented piano player, I love being able to sit down and playing through many of the songs I remember from the 50s, just for my own enjoyment. The chord index is a wonderful help.
I use this book a lot, since I give programs for the public. However, I would rather not have everything in the key of C. Next time I'll skip the word "easy" when I get a fake book.
Great music and easy to play. I've only been banging the keys for a year and I can play most of these songs.
