This updated text by Robert Cox is invaluable -- necessary reading for anyone working in the environmental field. His theoretical understanding of rhetoric, combined with experience as past president of the Sierra Club, puts him in a unique position to take on this topic. He has woven discussion of climate change throughout this new edition and added updated case studies.
I don't think many would go out and buy this book if they were not an academic in the field. That said, as a graduate student, this was an easy read. Doesn't bury you in technical information and it flows nicely. The author grabs information from many diverse sources and this is a solid introduction into a growing field.
A very thought provoking book.

It's a good text book. Fairly straightforward. It helped me learn everything for class when I actually read it.
