I choose this book because I was a beginning colorist and I wanted to see the style of books by Angie Grace. While I may or may not color every picture of this book, it is great for sampling pages for fine tips, for crayons and broad tips and for pencils. After coloring a couple of pages, I order the Angie Grace WOW book and am wowed by that one too!
After my first Angie Grace book purchase (Wow), I was excited to get this one and so I could get a better feel for which of her other books I might like. Even the samples that aren't my style are fun to see. From these samples, I already know at least 5 more books I want.
This is a great book if you want to start coloring in Angie Grace's books! This book is a page from everyone of her books! Her books are awesome and keep you coloring for hours! This is also a great price so you can get started! Once you purchase this you will want to buy them all!
This was not for me. I didn't really like this very much. I am NOT saying that this is a bad coloring book. This is a sampler that shows the different types of books that she has out. I have seen her books on here but I have not been drawn to them and I thought that this sampler would help me to decide if i wanted to try one of the books. The concept of this book is to have a page from each of her books. There are a few that I liked but there are more that I wasn't feeling but in a weird way I kinda liked that about this book. It was great to have a sampler to let me know that this particular line of books just isn't for me. It is nice, there are some great pictures to color but they just aren't for me but they may be the exact thing for someone else. I think more companies need to do this because it would make it easier to discover if you like a company or not....So while this wasn't for me, I still think that this is a great book for other people! Give it a try and you may discover you like Angie Grace.
For the price, it definitely is worth spending to avoid buying a whole book of something you don't like. It let me judge that these books are not detailed enough for me.
Great book for exploring Angie Grace's coloring book series.. I bought this for my niece who loves to come over and look at my coloring books... Now she can have a page from each book to color. Love this book, great idea !
This is a great coloring book for adults. I own a lot of coloring books and this is the best one on the market.
Pros:1. A small handful of coloring pages I liked. The majority will go to my 5 year old niece to mess with when she colors with me.2. Can use markers: Water-based markers (Pentel Color Pens) didn't bleed through the pages or pick up paper fuzz as readily as other books. Can go over an area multiple times. (Good for kids too)Cons:1. Sampler: I would have been better off buying the books that looked interesting rather than this sampler. Drawings for crayons or wide markers and drawing/journaling are not my cup of tea. Should of paid more attention to the all the books she had.2. Pages are not perforated. I'm not going to color while dealing with the rest of the book, so I had to cut out the pages I wanted.3. Designs are unimaginative and monotonous. On many, the same graphic element just repeats over and over across the entire page.After locating a cutting blade, I cut out the pages I liked. Since I was doing it for some other images, I photocopied them onto marker paper and am much happier with them.
