I have been fascinated with business leaders who are innovative and tend to step outside the proverbial box in everything they do. This is one of the things that attracted me to Elon Musk and I have read several books about this amazing man in the past year. Hungry for more, I ran across author George Ilian's new "50 Life and Business Lessons from Elon Musk" and this is a great read. There is wonderful insight and inspiration here from a business leader who has been able to accomplish what so many others have only dreamed about. You won't find these thoughts compiled anywhere else and I loved the bonus materials as well. Definitely recommend.
Elon Musk is my hero, the dad I never knew. I'm thankful for having read his story. He may not be the perfect man, but at least he gets to sleep on a bed full of money at night. Sure he has a lot of social problems, but he doesn't care. He just wants to do his own thing, which ultimately effects society big time. What I like about him is that he's not all talk. Some people just talk big but never do anything. On the other hand, Elon actually does things! He doesn't waste his time and talents complaining or bitching. He works hard, period. Although he's probably guilty of many things people bitch about, I'm always proud of him.
Many people, including myself, primarily associate Elon Musk with the more modern news about his ventures – such as with SpaceX; but I found out recently that he has been involved with many internet start-ups that have gone on to be huge successes, and wanting to find out more about these previous ventures and gain further insight to his success is what led me to this book.I find George Ilian’s books about entrepreneurs to be especially good dude to the layout: in this, the author offers a great deal of insight about Elon Musk in a biographical way, and then he extracts concise and strong lessons from what is discussed, which can then be applied to many different endeavors. I'll definitely be keeping this book in mind in the future.
I'm always reading and learning from successful people. Elon Musk is a leader in business and I'm glad that I read this book. I will use the lessons from this book to learn and grow, I know that the best way to achieve success is to model successful people, that's why I bought this book in the first place. A great short read!
I am impressed that such a little book can contain such a wealth of information on this enigmatic man! Now I feel like I understand Elon Musk much more, and the wisdom of his focusing on the upper end of the electric car market, rather than immediately making it available for the masses. That will come, I now see the plan. Thank you George Ilian - I can't wait to read the other books I've bought as well. I want to feel the energy of these amazingly successful and humanitarian people.

Great summary on Musk lessons, I read it pretty fast and easy to remember, I'm going to share it with my company colleagues. It worth it and fast to read, I saved to my kindle and it easy to come back to search for specific quotes that I'm going to use as inspirational.
I enjoyed the content. Not a whole lot that can't be derived from listening to interviews with Musk but reading this in an hour is far more efficient than listening to 20 hours of interviews for the same information.
