I really like the Bastien Christmas books for my piano students. I ordered Level 1 for my student who is in her first year of lessons and is using other level 1 method books. This Christmas book, however, looked too easy for her, so I ordered Level 2 instead, and it's perfect for her ability.
Although there are a few duplicates with the Primer Level book, this one adds a few more things so as to make it a bit more challenging. As with all the James Bastien books at this level, notes and notations are large and easy to read and follow.
I teach piano to young students and this has been a staple for Christmas every year. It has both hymns and standard songs, all arranged very well. I highly recommend this music book!
