This was a very good book. It keeps you interested from front to back. It has places where it really pulls on the heart strings. A very good book about things that happen in this country way more often then they should.
I really enjoyed his story and the storytelling teacher's ability to draw the reader in and share her love for students who could have fallen through the cracks. A quick and engaging read
Wow. Compared to Mary MacCracken's other books this one was extremely boring and uninteresting. It started off ok but just died. Nothing else to say.
The best book I've ever read. Very educational and a very touching story. An absolute read for everyone young and old. A favorite on my bookshelf.
Both struggling teachers and bewildered parents will learn something reading this book. Perhaps the education of our kids will improve.
