This book is messed up. You can be playing a song and realize the publisher has mixed the pages up and inserted a page from a different song in the middle of the music. The missing correct section is no where to be found in the book. Contacted the publisher a month ago hoping to get the rest of the music. They've never bothered to respond.
The older edition is better as it came with a DVD for instruction. Let my daughter use my book and DVD. Purchased the newer edition. Now it recommends you go to Youtube for the videos. No other major difference that I can see.
I am not a beginner but I am not intermediate either! I have purchased several books and other instructional material to help me learn. I have to say Guitar for Dummies has helped my learning process more than anything I have used so far. I wish I would have had this book when I started last year! Thanks
Easy to understand and follow. Excellent illustrations ad charts. Explanations are complete and clear. All ln needs to dl is follpw the instructions and practice! Reading the book will not turn you into anguitar player.
