As a piano teacher with graduating seniors, I usually give them the Harvard dictionary, as I hope it helps them to keep their interest in classical music as they continue on in life. It's still the easiest to use, as well as having trusted entries.
I recieved the book in excellent condition and have poured through it for hours. After a 20 plus year absence from "playing" music, I decided to return to the guitar but wanted to do it properly this time. The subject book has been of great use in understanding various music terms, proceedures, etc.I would recommend this book to anyonme wishing to learn music "in-depth"PS, it does include information on various "rock band musicians" as well as classical.

The book is in perfect condition! To be completely honest, its in better condition than anything at the book store on campus.
I love this book. It is some cool. I always look words up whenever I am stumped in music theory or just in my practice. It is a very good buy!! I recommend it to anybody who is into music. :)
