Terrific book. Very up to date research on the Montreal Mafia or the "Mileu" which the book terms organized crime in Montreal. Great writing especially with the cat and mouse game of Desjardins and Salvatore Montagna. The book makes Montagna out to be a very mischievous criminal entrepreneur whose presence became known quick in Montreal. Makes me wonder if Montagna wasn't behind the murder of Nicolo Rizzuto Jr. Still interested to see how the Montreal Mafia scenario plays out.Quick notes about the book:Giuseppe Fetta is not deadGerlando Sciascia was not murdered by Gambino familyGerlando Sciascia did not criticize any Gambino family members for drug use.
I've read many books on the Canadian Mafia and this is by far the best one I've read in a very long time.Not surprising considering the excellent authors - two of the very best in this genre. The book is well laid out, with short chapters which makes for a nice, easy and compelling read. A real page turner. I would highly recommend this book to everyone who enjoys true crime / Mafia books.Great job Peter and Antonio!
This was a good Story from start to finish on the life of Vito Rizzuto.There will always be organized crime in North America.The only changes will be the names that make it happen.Good job by Peter Edwards on this one.He left you in many areas to make your own determination as to who,what when and how.

Everything I have ordered for gifts books and presents have come in a timely fashion and also in very good condition. I have no complaints.
I liked it I just wish they got to all of Vito's revenge a little earlier in the book. Overall it was a good read.
Interesting but too detailed for my level of interest. It should have had a "genealogy " and an organization chart to make it easier to follow.
