I just wanted a book that had the sheetmusic for classical Christmas songs and this product gave me that and more. I don't know what the use was for the CD because I haven't listened to anything past the first song which I couldn't find in the book. I love this product because not only did it give me the lyrics and guitar chords it gave me the piano chords as well. The lyric handbook was a definite bonus because now my family can have the lyrics while I play. Love it and will definitely be looking into other products like it.
The Merry Christmas SongbookThe book is in beautiful, almost new condition. The only thing was that the CD was missing, but I don't really need the CD. It has a wonderful widespread collection of Christmas songs and of course so nice to have the lyric booklet for people I play the piano for to sing along.
This book IS WONDERFUL! I would highly recommend it. I take it out every December and it immerses me in the spirit of the season. The arrangements are wonderful, especially on classics such as the Christmas Song...you know, "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire...". There are songs that are not found in very many other Christmas books...pop songs from the 40's, 50's and 60's along with traditional classics, religious and secular.
The book was in excellent condition with the CD and additional lyrics booklet included. Delivery time was good. This is a very comprehensive collection of Christmas songs both traditional and modern. Easy and fun to play even though I am very rusty.
