This provides the chart information for artists who had songs appear on the Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) magazine Adult Contemporary (AC) chart. Before Billboard started publishing Christian music charts, CCM magazine was the authority on that genre of music. This is a good historical reference and may also jog the memory of CCM fans.
Being raised on Contemporary Christian Music Radio, this book brought back some great memories. As a Charts book collector, its a blastto see how my favorite artists and songs did as well as discover new artists I have never heard of. My only bummer is not combining the CHR and AC charts together in the same book. Another thing, when will the Christian Rock charts be published?
For years I've enjoyed listening to music and watching my favorite songs rise and fall from various charts. Until I wrote this series of books, there were no readily accessible chart data for Contemporary Christian Music.
This book is great information for anyone wishing to know what songs have been featured over the years on the Christian Adult Contemporary charts. Also, you learn some interesting information about the people who record the songs in just a few sentences If you enjoy listening to the Fish, the Way, Joy Fm or some other Christian station in your area--this book will help you to search for some great Christian music that no longer gets played on the radio (but you should be able to find on itunes or on ).
