I like this one, different art from different areas and times. The illustrations are clear and varied, but the goldwork is very dull looking in these representations. (why I dropped it from 5 starts to 4) It would still be good for SCA artists.
This beautiful little book of hours contains a good, concise introduction to the Medieval Book of Hours and wonderful reproductions of pages from famous surviving Horae ('Hours'). It is lovely to carry around for little moments of quietness and beauty.
Took Ages to arrive but well worth the wait. Beautiful Presented Book of Age. An honor to add to my Medieval Book Collection.
A lovely little book with explanations about the paintings. Plates in lovely coulours and a goid cross section of styles. will get some more later.
