Barron's materials have always been my first priority all the time, but they don't renew the book for next editions. I mean I already have got the 4th edition of this book but it is totally same with the last edition. I was expecting new revised and expanded questions but it is till at same with the old ones.
Horrible. Poor editing, I found three errors and misprints in the practice exams alone. It is extremely inconvenient to look to the AB section to find the answers for some of the BC test questions. Generally speaking I am very disappointed and frustrated with the quality of this book. Barron's used to be my go to prepbook but I may turn to Princeton review now.
Lacks detailed explanations to the exam questions. Thus, it is ok for tutoring but not for a student studying by him/herself.They chose to "save paper" by omitting the answers to repeated problems between the AB and BC versions. As such, one must constantly go back and forth between the tests. (was that really necessary)?
This book has essentially everything I needed to succeed on the BC exam. There are hundreds of practice problems with answers and solutions, as well as chapters that explain the concepts. My one criticism is that the book doesn't include scoring guides or scales, so it's somewhat difficult to know whether one is prepared to take the exam.
I have just started learning calculus coming from Trig - and I am about half way through the course. This book provides excellent review, and many different examples of different types of questions. The derivatives part is great, and I've only touched the surface with this great book. I recommend this book.
Doesn't have full examples of every topic but as a whole is great.
It didn't really help me understand the subject, it just made me even more confused.
