This book ahd some interesting ideas for some parties, but none of them were that expanded upon. And many of the partis required a lot of planing and rely on decorating. One party suggested purchasing dry ice to use for speacial effects. Like any one can do that. All of the games suggested were just minor twists on old favorites. If you just want some simple jump start ideas, read this book. If you are looking for a party planner in a book, look somewhere else.
Crafty Girl- Slumber Parties was a great book. It came with fourteen different themes, recipes, invitations, and games. The book had some really unique ideas, such as Fashion Fantasia and Ariabian Night. It also gives movie and music recommendations for each theme. I thought they could have had more game ideas. It was mainly just twists on other games. My favorite themes are Slumber party in the Beauty Salon and Sweet Dreams. Jennifer really did a good job on the book. This is definitely a enjoyable book if you want a twist on the same boring sleepover. Read up and enjoy!
When I first got this book I read it over and over and over and never actually had a slumber party with one of the themes. I january I'm having a "Slumber Party in the Beauty Salon" Trust me, this book is a must-have for any slumber party hostess.
I loved so many ideas in this book! I especially like the Candy Themed one and the Kitchen Olympics. This is a wonderful book to give any girl who loves slumber parties! I love it, love it, love it!!!!!!!!
