This is a definite must for Jazz or Classical musicians or enthusiasts. It captures colorful stories of the swing, bop, and movie score era of the 40s, 50s, and 60s. It is rare out of print. I last saw this book when I was a Jazz announcer on KCMJ, Palm Springs. In later years I met both the authors and neither one had a copy. I was delighted to find a used, nearly mint copy last month on for under $12.00.
