This is a very useful workbook to supplement understanding of reading musical notes in violin students, and one of very few usable theory workbooks for kids. I like to use this along with the Yoko Acheson Violin theory books.
This was recommended by a violin teacher to help master note reading. I like the easy to follow format but wish it had more pages because I do not know if there are enough exercises to help my student retain the information presented.
This book has helped our eight year old daughter master her skills of reading music. She is a beginner and took right to it without any problems.
I like that it is so basic. My daughter is only 6 and just learning to read music, I like that it is very basic and she gets it.
The book is easy to understand and my daughter loves it! I wish there were more books that come after it.
