I really enjoyed reading this book. It made Tessa and Scott real to me, an iceskating fan. By the end of the story I felt as if I was with them.
This is a beautiful book! The color photos are gorgeous and the text is very insightful and well written. I'm very glad I bought this book!
So detailed and interesting! I feel like I really know Tessa and Scott now! After reading about all the hardship that they had to overcome in order to get to the top made them see like such real people and less of super heroes which was nice!
It is bigger and heavier than I though and it has a lot of details about Tessa and Scott early life and beginnings in the ice skate world, it is a great history.
This appears to be little more than a compilation of publicly available pictures and stories that appear on the internet. No new insights, no new revelations. In fact, it looks like a long-form press release explaining exactly what Virtue-Moir want you to believe about their "unique" partnership. I was extremely disappointed. If anything, you may want to purchase the book from a used book vendor at a deeply discounted price.
