"All the technique and classes in the world did not address the real problem ... as long as I placed my attention outwards [I ignored] the inner connection" (pages 94-95)The American .com website has, at the time of writing, 29 reviews, nearly all of which are 5-star `excellent' reviews, with the lowest being a solitary 3-star `good' (from a Taoist, not a tango dancer). The book has been published in Spanish and English and both versions are currently available. I bought two copies of the book about 3 years ago, one copy was a gift to a friend. I bought that gift because, of over 40 books on tango tat I have bought, read and own, this is one of the most important, and one of my top-5. It may well be my desert island tango book."I found the Holy Grail...I was conversing in some language of the soul that resided in a part of me I never knew existed ... I was consciously experiencing my female energy for the first time."Pages 2-3 of this book.I am inspired to write a review because, at the time of writing, justice has not been done to this book and I have heard awful hearsay that has nothing to do with its sparkling content. In fact, during an Email correspondence with a tango teacher from the Welsh borders, I was told by him that he had not read it but knew it was awful because he had read the reviews. What reviews, I asked? He complained that there were no reviews on this website, and that was enough to tell him it was a bad book. It's sad that there are those few who will judge a book by its title, cover, or by a lack of reviews on a satellite website; who will not read the book but will put forth their opinions and poor evaluations based on their own prejudices and projections.
