I have lived right through the period this book covered and now I know why some of the things and events that I puzzled over occurred. Well written, don't agree with everything but have been left with a lot to think about.CheersRay
An intellectual who has walked the walk and talked the talk but is self opinionated although definitely a contributor. NZ is not the poorer for him being a contributor.
Even though the book is quite long I read it quickly because Don's style is easy and logical. I found myself agreeing with 99% of his conclusions. Recommended.
Don Brash has written the most thoughtful and deep account of how an economy works, business, New Zealand's place in the world and how dirty politics can be !
Honest, knowledgeable and experienced in the economic ways of the world. Sadly, that is not the type of person we vote for. Thanks Don for explaining so many of the economic issues of today.
