I received this very promptly and have just played through the entire book. I'm an advanced pianist who doesn't know how to play jazz nor have the time to learn. But I love jazz piano! Therefore it's nice to come across such well-arranged tunes including many which you don't see in most compilations such as "The Christmas Waltz", "Merry Christmas, Darling", "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year", "Snowfall" and "What are you Doing New Year's Eve?" I was happy to see the Alfred Burt carol "Caroling, Caroling"; I sang most of the Burt carols in high school yet I don't think most people are familiar with them. That's a real shame because they deserve to be performed more. I play at holiday gigs so it's great to be able to add this volume to my repertoire. The jazz chords are advanced enough to make the arrangements interesting but not so far out as to make them obtrusive. (Since I usually play in the background I don't want the music to be too challenging). The up-tempo numbers are delightful: Rudolf, Jingle Bells, Feliz Navidad. So thank you, Mr. Keveren, for these arrangements--they'll get a lot of use.

I bought this book from the glowing reviews, but was a bit disappointed that it was rather simplistic for my tastes. Don't get me wrong, the chord structures were interesting and pleasing to the ear, but it wasn't much of a challenge to play them. Still I'm not regretful of having it in my library.

This is a good selection of secular Xmas music that lends itself to jazz rhythms and harmonies. Most are late intermediate in difficulty, and good for students or performers looking for something beyond singalong arrangements. My Xmas collection was nearly complete, and I was relieved to find a better-than-usual version of "Feliz Navidad". Play through the rest yourself and you'll surely find several you can use.

These are fun, intermediate jazzy-sounding arrangements (though some may want to call them "advanced").If you're looking for more authentic, unique jazz, I highly recommend Craig Curry's:Christmas Jazz for Solo Piano: 8 Spicy Settings by Craig Curry. That book will really challenge a solid musician, and the arrangements are beautiful. However, if you want simpler, more mainstream, easier to fudge or sightread songs, or simply songs for more of an intermediate or early advanced pianist, then I would highly recommend this Jingle Jazz. They are fun arrangements of many famous Christmas songs -- and I'm not always a Keveren fan.

LOVE this book for cool jazz Christmas classics. Great arrangements; easy to play and certainly recognize. Great for beginner pianists, too, so highly recommend for any level who enjoys secular Christmas music.

I have enjoyed playing the music in Jingle Jazz. It's bright and funky.Quite fun with some great harmonies and surprising turns.Just when I'm getting some of the pieces sounding wonderful, Christmas is over darn!

This jazzy version of Christmas tunes is fun. Easy for sight reading if you're an advanced player, so check 'em out.

This book is really fun. I have enjoyed playing these arangements. They are easy enough to sight read and are sophiscated enough to hold intrest.
