Some of the most beloved piano pieces in the world and easy to read. Just keep in mind that the pieces are arranged for intermediate players, not original arrangements.
I have been looking for an arrangement of Rhapsody in Blue that wasn't too hard for me to learn for a long time. This arrangement is challenging for me but I can actually do it, and it sounds like the song it is supposed to sound like so it is worth the effort. I only took two years of piano when I was a teenager, although I memorized songs that were much harder than what I could read. Still, this is doable for me with some work and a little help from a more experienced pianist on some of the timing.

This book gets 5 stars because it is exactly what it claimed to be!I am a piano teacher and it is difficult sometimes to order music online because you can't really look inside. Often I get stuck with bad arrangements, or find that I have paid a lot of money for illustrations and photos but little music.This book is a collection of ten classical pieces including compositions by Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin and Rachmaninoff. And that's all it is: just the music, no muss, no fuss. The pages are clear, easy to read and and the simple binding makes it easy as can be to perch on a music stand.
I bought this primarily for clair de lune and I'm glad I did. It is definitely difficult, but with practice I know I will get it, and what I have mastered so far sounds beautiful and just like the original piece. I haven't done much with the other songs yet but they seem to be of about the same difficulty. All songs are familiar to the ear. Perfect for an intermediate player, or someone like me who has played on and off for years without much formal training. You can figure it out on your own but it will take some practice and patience. Arrangements like these give me the motivation to keep it up! On a side note- I'm a big fan of 's Free Super Saver Shipping deal, but if your order does not qualify you will be paying a standard shipping fee. Nice arrangements and level of complexity, but NO FINGERING notations. Just makes it a headache to try to figure out.
Ordered this book mainly for "Moonlight Sonata" but other pieces are nice, too. Haven't played in 20 years so had to start with some do-able pieces. This collection is very good and I received it fast!
The book is huge! I really loved the wide variety a composer, with still having the most famous like Beethoven and Mozart. is has all the classics like Fur Elise and Ode to Joy. The only compliant i have is some longer songs they shorten and there are quite a few that were made for a symphony and not solo, but i can understand why this happened! Definitely for advanced pianist, highly recommend it!
