I'm assuming if you are making this purchase it is for a class, so you really only have an option between medium and edition. I first purchased the looseleaf 4th edition, but once you get that into a binder, it is so cumbersome I came back for the Kindle edition. The Kindle Edition is only available on the app, not the cloud. I have used the app on my PC and iPad without issue. However, the book crashes the Kindle App for Mac, almost every time and certainly every time I try to do a task as simple as opening the index. If you are buying the book to use on your Kinde App for Mac, I would strongly encourage you to consider a different medium.
