I bought this book and couldn't stop reading it it doesn't matter what age you are I guarantee you will like this book especially if your in sixth grade
As I have already read the first book in the series, my class had requested I purchase this, the second book in the series. We have almost finished reading it and once again my class love it. There are always moans and groans when I stop. This book is really suitable for today's students.

This book was really amazing and anyone reading it should read it while it's dark and/or their imaginations are open to any possibilities. I was reading the first diary/chronicle of Diary of a 6th Grade Ninja and I thought that it was actually true and the possibility is still there. I hope Marcus Emerson writes another one of these books so that I can be entertained for another day.
My 10 yo godson dived into the entire Ninja series I sent him with great gusto. His reading ability has been assessed at age 13-14, but he was very taken with the story of a boy his own age. It motivated him to get away from Minecraft video games and into another venue disappearing all too fast: printed ink on paper fueling imagination. Cudos to Emerson for keeping this alive. :)
This book is an amazing sequel to Diary of a 6th Grease Ninja. It's funny, action packed, and absolutely full of surprises left and right. A great addition to the legendary rivalry between pirates and ninja. It's 3 dollars, but WHO CARES!? Totally a good read of all ages and lots of fun! Marcus Emerson, thank you so much for your wonderful idea! This series is a real treat!
Our 5th grader liked the story and we'll get the rest of the Kindle ebook series via Kindle Unlimited. But note that this ebook is relatively short (and sweet). Fun story and series, just go into it with eyes open that they are quick reads.
Trying to find the right books that could get my son interested in reading was hard, until I came across this series and the War series (Lunch Room, Snow Ball, etc). Now I have to tell him to stop reading and do his chores...but I do love the fact that he's an avid reader now (:
